An Educationally Priceless Visit to a Hospital
26 September 2019
A Class trip, a PrimeOne School’s unique programme to serve its students with educational experiences out of the classroom, has been an awaiting moment for Primeschoolers. On lovely Thursday morning September 26th, 2019, PrimeOne School SH3 students had an educational class trip to Royal Prima Hospital Medan.
Attended by 96 Grade XII students and 4 guardian teachers, the trip began at 9.00 am. Upon arrival, they had a warm welcome from dr. Wienaldi, MKM, as Director of Medical and Nursing Services at Royal Prima Hospital. After a short introduction as an act of hospitality, the hospital officials firstly invited the students to have a closer look into the hospital's laboratories, pharmacy and radiology. The students also had the opportunity to witness the sequential process of screening the bodies in the hospital. In live-action settings, students were provided with a presentation to gain better understanding & importance of First Aid and the opportunity to ask questions and clarify some issues and concern.
The field trip was very fruitful. The students were able to gain valuable insight into how Science and Technology affect and impact the health of the individual. Thank you Royal Prima Hospital.
